ROME Catholic News Agency
Rome, Italy, Jun 22, 2009 / 02:12 pm (CNA).-

Various Catholic organizations have expressed their solidarity with Father Kizito Sesana, a Combonian missionary from Italy who has been unjustly accused of sexually abusing children in Kenya, where he has served children and young people for over 20 years.

According to the magazine Mondo e Missione, published by the Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions, Father Sesana has been the target of “a defamation campaign begun by the privately owned Kenya Television Network, which has accused the priest of abusing children.”

The Superior General of the Combonians, Father Teresino Serra, issued a statement expressing support for Father Sesana, recalling his “great devotion to the missions. The leadership expresses his closeness to Father Sesana in this time of trial.”

Framing Father Kizito Renato Sesana: What money can do!

Its emerging that Kenya's most known priest, Renato Kizito Sesana is being framed for sodomy in an effort to squeeze money from him. The noble priest who has been Kenya for more than years and assisted hundreds of homeless children has been fabricated by KTN and some other people who were former trustees in koinonia community which father kizito started. It s alleged that the trustees were expelled from koinonia community for financial mispropriety and decided to fabricate the good priest so that they can have him expelled from kenya nad therefore gain an opportunity to grab the billion worth assets of koinonia community. According to father Kizito, they had already began grabbing the property while he was out of the country.
This is a big shame to KTN who had earlier condemned father kizito without doing initial research on the issue. According to some analysis on www.undani.wordpress.com KTN could be in for a huge libel redress. What money can do!
